Head Teacher’s Message

A very warm welcome to Blackhall Primary School website. We hope you find all the information you need and that we give you an insight into the life of our school, and the hard work that our staff and governors do to provide your children with the best possible education.

We are very sad that our lovely school is currently largely closed due to government advice on COVID-19 (Coronovirus). We are thinking about all our children and families in these strange and unprecedented times. Our school office is, of course, still taking calls if you have any queries or even if you just need to hear a friendly voice. This website has been updated to offer information and advice as we receive it; there are also links to helpful Home Learning resources. We hope you are all staying safe and well, and please stay in touch.

Blackhall Primary School has pupils aged from 2 to 11, so we get to know our children really well as they move through each stage of their primary education. We are proud of our family atmosphere and the care we give each and every child. Our happy school provides a caring and nurturing environment where children feel safe and ready to learn. We have high expectations for learning and progress and ensure we offer the support and encouragement every child needs to achieve their potential.

All members of our school community are important, and we strive to make our pupils feel listened to and respected. We greatly value our partnerships with parents and carers, and welcome open communication.

We want all of our children to develop as learners and thinkers, form kind friendships and grow into responsible and thoughtful members of our society.  By working together, we will inspire our children so they enjoy and achieve at school and beyond.

Mrs J.M. Clark
Head Teacher
