Pupils

Dear Pupils

We miss you! These are strange and unsettling times as our school is currently closed due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and the world has become very different very quickly. We are thinking of you all and missing our school family greatly.

The Children’s Commissioner has produced a guide to Coronavirus especially for children. There have been big changes in our lives because of coronavirus, so they’ve created a children’s guide to coronavirus to help explain the situation. The guide aims to answer questions about coronavirus, tell you how to stay safe and protect other people and how to help you make the best of your time at home. You can download this guide by clicking on the image at the left. Other resources to help you with worries can be found on the home learning page here.

Your class teacher will be keeping in touch with your grown-ups and sending work home through the class email boxes. You will find the latest information about home learning ideas and resources here.

Please keep in touch and let us know how you are getting on through your grown-up’s email. Your class teacher, or any other teacher you would like to keep in touch with will be happy to message you this way.

It is really important that you stay safe online at home, especially now a lot of your learning and socialising will be taking place through electronic devices. Read the advice on our Online Safety page and remember everything you have learned about personal information, who your real friends are, what (and what not) to share and avoiding inappropriate content online.

Mrs Clark and the Blackhall Primary Team

In normal times, our pupils have an important part to play in helping their school make decisions. In this section you will find information about some of the activities your child takes part in during school. This may be as a representative in the School Council or as an active member of a School Club.

If you require further information on any of the items shown in this section, please contact the school and we will do our best to help.
