We’re proud to be part of the Active Uniform Alliance (AUA) and have taken a pledge to adopt an ‘always active uniform’ in our school. This supports all of our children to be more active throughout the whole school day, enabling them to make seamless transitions between focused classroom learning and physical activity. The uniform includes items like white polos or t-shirts, joggers or leggings, sweatshirts, and sturdy trainers. This uniform will maintain the smart appearance that we value, while removing unnecessary barriers to physical engagement. For girls especially, this change offers liberation from uniforms that have historically limited their participation in spontaneous play and active learning. Take a look at the #ActiveUniformAlliance website for more information about the benefits of always active uniforms, here: www.activeuniform.org
