How children with SEN engage in all activities?

We enable all children to engage fully in all aspects of school life by:

  • Ensuring that all pupils have access to the school curriculum and all school activities making reasonable adaptations where necessary.
  • Ensuring every child has the entitlement to a sense of achievement through marking and feedback, display of children’s work and our weekly celebration assemblies.
  • Please see our Equality Policy and Accessibility Plan for more details.

Clubs and Trips

All our extra-curricular activities and school visits are available to all our children, including our before-and after-school clubs.

All children are encouraged to go on our trips and residentials.

All children are encouraged to take part in sports day, school competitions, school assemblies and performances, workshops, etc.

All children are encouraged to apply for roles of responsibility in school e.g. Pupil Leadership Team, Head Boy and Head Girl.

No child is ever excluded from taking part in these activities because of their SEN or disability.

Clubs change half termly and are bookable via Arbor.
